Fotoblur Magazine Issue 11 / Call For Submission

Fotoblur is currently looking for photographers who would like to become contributors to Fotoblur Magazine, Issue 11 (The RGB Issue). Fotoblur Magazine is a community based photography publication which has published works by many up and coming photographers including some of worlds top known talents.

Themes for Issue 11 (The RGB Issue)

Red: Images with a predominance of the color red or whose main subject contains mostly red tones.
Green: Images with a predominance of the color green or whose main subject contains mostly green tones.
Blue: Images with a predominance of the color blue or whose main subject contains mostly blue tones.

Schedule

Submissions start July 5th, 2011 and end July 31st, 2011.
Community voting begins August 1st, 2011 and ends August 14th, 2011.

How you can contribute to the Fotoblur Magazine project

First, join the community.
Then submit high resolutions versions of your best gallery photos for possible publication.
Submit as many photos as you like. No restrictions and its FREE!
Submitted photos are voted on by the Fotoblur community. From top picks, editors make their final selections for publication.

Submission Requirements

Submit your photo as a 300dpi jpg file. Save your image so that the width is 7 inches or greater (7″ @ 300dpi = 2100px). We ask that you submit your images in high (80 – 100%) quality. Please keep the file size below 10 MB. Please refrain from adding borders, watermarks, or text of any kind.

The winner of the final grand prize is based on the accumulative scores from the below 4 category photo contests. For each category, 10 pictures will be shortlisted whereby a score of 1 to 10 points will be awarded by the judges. The public will also be able to vote for the people’s choice winning picture.

Judging criteria: creativity, looking beyond the obvious and capturing the moments.

Please submit your images by email to contest@cameratonic.co.uk. Images must be in the format of JPEG or TIFF measuring at exactly 1200 pixels on their long dimension. The maximum file size is 1MB per image. Images’ dimension can be of any format (35mm, square or panoramic) taken by either a film or digital camera.

You can submit up to 3 images for each Category contest.

* Copyright: Entrants agree that that Sponsor may use each winner’s name, photograph, likeness in any publicity relating to the Contest or future promotions. The rights of the submitted photographs belong to the entrants regardless their photographs win a prize or not.

Rendszeres bemutatkozási lehetőség az interneten keresztül természetfotósok részére akik képeiket szeretnék bemutatni és közönségszavazatok alapján értékeltetni azokat. A pályázat nyitott bárki küldhet képeket amennyiben a feltételeket elfogadja.

Témája: “Természetfotó a számítógépemre” Itthon, és külföldön készített a természetet, tájakat, fajokat, bemutató képek, fotók . Figyelem pályázatunkra minimun 800 px-es vízszintes hosszúságú képpekkel lehet nevezni.

Részletek:

1. Mindenki feltöltheti saját képeit kérjük hogy saját névvel. A fő albumba csak azok a képek kerülnek melyek átesnek egy minőségi, technikai bírálaton. A képek kategóriák nélkül kerülnek a fotóalbumba. A rendszer automatikusan a szavazatok sorrendjében jeleníti meg az érdeklődők számára az alkotásokat, akik szavazatokat adhatnak a képekre 1-5-ig pontozással.

2. A képek mérete a hosszabbik oldalon nem lehet kisebb 800 px-elnél. Formátuma JPG. vagy JPEG. lehet. Nagyobb felbontású kép küldése a pályázat befejezésekor külön kérésre történik. Számítógépeken való megjelenéskor felkerül a szerző neve, és a fotohir.hu logoja.

3. Fény és színkorrekciók engedélyezettek de ezek nem változtattathatják meg alapjaiban a képet. A képeken felirat nem helyezhető el.

4. A pályázathoz kötelező kitölteni a nevezési űrlapot, megadni a kép készítésének helyét, és a technikai adatokat (gép, optika, stb.).

5. Egy pályázó maximum 5 képet küldhet.

6. A pályázat akkor eredményes, ha legalább 10 alkotó 30 képet küld elbírálásra. Amennyiben ez a szám nem teljesül a képek a következő “Negyedév természetfotója” fotóalbumba kerülnek.

7. Saját képre történő szavazás esetén kizárás jár a pályázatból. A fotohir csapata fenntartja a jogot, hogy a kiírástól eltérő képeket törölje a fotóalbumból.

8. Nem lehet képet beküldeni más fotópályázatokon már szerepelt képet.

Beküldési határidő minden negyed év utolsó napja. A szavazás lezárása az ezt követő hónap 15. napja. Az első 20 képből egy három tagú szakmai zsűri választja ki a nyertes képet. Ez után kerül kihirdetésre a pályázat nyertese és veheti át a Naturvizió Kft. által felajánlott díjjakt.

I. díj: 1 db. Iglu 2-es természetfotós lessátor

II. díj: 1 db. Profi természetfotós mellény

III. díj: 10.000 Ft. értékű “The Mountai póló” vásárlási utalvány a www.ajandek.hirdetolap.eu oldaláról.
