Photo Prize 2010 – Celebrating the beauty of plants

Whether you are an experienced professional or a talented amateur, we want your photos. Entry is free, and prizes include vouchers for equipment worth up to USD 8,000 from our prize sponsor, Canon.

The most outstanding images – 3 from entries within Syngenta and 3 from outside the company – will be awarded vouchers for Canon equipment:

* 1st prize: USD 8,000
* 2nd prize: USD 5,000
* 3rd prize: USD 3,000

Our jury evaluates photos on the basis of:

1. creative interpretation of theme “Bringing plant potential to life”
2. color and composition (selection of display detail, harmony, color etc.)
3. quality and technique

Copyright: All entrants submitting photos agree to allow Syngenta to publish these in electronic or print format for any commercial or non-commercial purpose (including but not limited to advertisement and promotion) without any additional payment. Syngenta shall have a non-exclusive, worldwide irrevocable right to use the above-mentioned photos free of charge. The rights of the photo itself stay with the photographer.
