			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://fotopalyazat.info/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/dc.jpg" alt="dc" title="dc" width="189" height="131" class="alignleft size-full wp-image-1749" />The Digital Camera Photographer of the Year competition is the leading contest for anyone with a passion for digital photography and is open to both amateur and professional photographers of any nationality. Its aim is to reveal the most inspirational and imaginative images, and last year the competition attracted more than 120,000 entries from around the world<span id="more-1190"> </span>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The competition is organised by the UK’s best photography title, <strong>Digital Camera</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We’ve made a number of improvements to the competition. Photographers who enter regularly will notice a few changes to the category line-up. There are ten categories to choose from and you may choose to enter just one or all ten &#8211; and you can enter up to five photos in each of these categories.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The competition is open for entries until the end of September, when a final shortlist will be announced, followed by the category winners and overall winner, as selected by a panel of judges.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The overall winner will get the coveted £10,000 main prize and be declared Digital Camera Photographer of the Year 2009.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Digital Camera is pleased to work in association with Jessops, Telegraph.co.uk, Sky Arts and the Royal Photographic Society.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This is one of the world’s biggest photography competitions and it’s free to enter &#8211; we look forward to seeing your pictures.</p>

<p>- <strong>Prize Details:</strong> £10,000 first prize The title of Digital Camera Photographer of the Year 2009 will be given to the photographer who is judged to have taken the most outstanding and memorable picture entered in the competition. The winning photographer will receive an incredible £10,000. Category winners You can enter up to five digital images in each of the ten categories. The prizes for each category are as follows: 1st: £500 plus a year’s free subscription to Digital Camera magazine and a year’s free membership to the Royal Photographic Society 2nd: £250 plus a year’s free subscription to Digital Camera magazine 3rd: £100 plus a year’s free subscription to Digital Camera magazine</p>

<p>- <strong>Copyright:</strong> The entrant must be the sole author and owner of copyright, intellectual property, and all other proprietary rights in all pictures entered. It is the legal responsibility of the entrant, and not Future, to ensure they comply with these ownership and copyright requirements and own the rights to reproduce their images. Entries that do not fulfil these criteria will be deemed ineligible and disqualified. Future does not make any claim on the copyright of your images. The photographer will retain copyright and where an image or images are reproduced, the photographer will be credited. <p>“National Talking Newspapers and Magazines provides a lifeline for 7,000 people, not just in the UK but around the world, by offering the same access to newspapers and magazines enjoyed by sighted people This helps blind and print disabled people achieve a level independence and choice most of us take for granted. We transcribe more than 200 popular titles enabling our subscribers to keep up-to-date with news and current affairs as well as a host of leisure and entertainment activities.“</p>
