The 13 contest winners will receive official certificates of merit. The winning photographs will also be featured in the UNESCO Bangkok and UNGEI (EAP and SA) combined “Gender in Education Calendar 2010″, which is to be distributed widely throughout Asia and beyond. The winning photographs will also be posted on the organizers’ respective websites.

CONTEST CRITERIA AND CONDITIONS
Photographs should depict gender equality in action in the contestant’s country, featuring photos that: – show either sex, of any age, participating equally in various educational/recreational activities, such as computer repairs, ICT training, cycle maintenance, cleaning the classroom, caring for younger siblings, sharing household chores and involvement in various community activities, etc; …

Photographs must be individual prints in colour, or black and white and must be submitted with the original negatives or slides. Size: maximum 21 cm x 29 cm; minimum 20 cm x 25 cm.

For digital photographs, files must be in a TIFF, EPS or JPEG format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Digital photographs must be submitted on a CD-ROM, accompanied by A4 paper size prints (21 cm x 29 cm).

CONTEST SCHEDULE

Judging will take place in August 2009 at UNESCO Bangkok.

2009-ben az Európai Állatkertek, így a Fővárosi Állat- és Növénykert is, 12 veszélyeztetett vagy kihalóban lévő, Európában honos ragadozó emlős védelméért száll síkra. Mivel Európa legnagyobb része sűrűn lakott, a természetes élőhelyek, főleg a háborítatlan, sűrű erdők egyre inkább feldarabolódnak, szennyeződnek, fogyatkoznak. Ez rákényszeríti a vadonélő állatokat, így a ragadozó emlősöket, pl. farkasokat, barnamedvéket, sakálokat arra, hogy egyre inkább behatoljanak az emberi települések környezetébe. Ez sok ember ellenszenvét váltja ki, ami a nagytestű ragadozók esetében párosul még az évszázados jogtalan előítéletekkel, félelmekkel. Pedig a ragadozók azzal, hogy elragadják a beteg és gyenge állatokat, szükséges és fontos szerepet töltenek be a táplálékláncban, így az élővilág egyensúlyának fenntartásában!

A kampány célja a tizenkét legkarizmatikusabb és a legveszélyeztetettebb európai faj védelme, a velük való együttélésünk javítása. A „Piszkos tizenkettő” a következő fajokat jelenti:

Pályázati feltételek
A pályázaton az első témakör kivételével csak a Fővárosi Állat- és Növénykertben készült képekkel lehet részt venni. A pályaművek lehetnek digitális, vagy analóg technikával készült és utólag digitalizált (beszkennelt) felvételek is. Felhívjuk a jelentkezők figyelmét, hogy a manipulált képek kizárásra kerülnek! (Nem számít manipulálásnak a kép 25%-nál kisebb mértékű megvágása, a teljes képet érintő, kismértékű színkorrekció, a színes felvétel fekete-fehérré alakítása és a szkennelési/digitalizálási hibák retusálása.)
Egy pályázó egy-egy témakörben csak egy felvétellel vagy legfeljebb három tagból álló képsorozattal nevezhet. A fotókat legalább 3 megapixel méretben kell elküldeni a következő email-címre: fotopalyazat@zoobudapest.com. Top prize of £10,000 for the Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009

Adult class

– The single best image will be chosen by the judges from all four adult categories. The photographer of this image will be awarded the prestigious title, ‘Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009’ and £10,000.
– For the images judged to be the best in each of the four categories, there will be a prize of £1000.
– For the images judged second in each of the four adult categories, there will be prizes of £500. Youth class (16 and under)

The photographer, aged 16 or under, who creates the entry chosen by the judges as the single best image, taking into account all four youth categories, will become the Young Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009 and will win £1,000 + a place on a 2-day photography workshop, in the UK, with renowned landscape photographer, Charlie Waite. Payment of the cash element of the prize will be made to the winner’s parent/guardian.

There are four categories within each of the two sections and up to 15 images per person may be entered across the categories.

The minimum requirement for three of the categories (Classic view, Living the view and Your view) is that the image must have been taken using a camera with a sufficiently high resolution to allow the image to be reproduced at A4 size or above (at 300 ppi). We recommend that you use a camera of 4 mega pixels or more. There is also a category for images taken on a camera phone. This is called ‘Phone view’ and images for this must have been taken on a camera phone of 1 mega pixel or more.

NB Please ensure that your camera is on its highest-quality setting.

You can also submit images that have been scanned from film or negative to all categories apart from ‘Phone view’

All images must have been taken in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel islands.

The National Wildlife Refuge System has no equal when it comes to conserving our nation’s rich wildlife heritage. The over 550 refuges are home to more than 700 bird species, 220 mammal species, 250 reptile and amphibian species, and over 200 species of fish. Such a diverse array of wildlife means that the Refuge System contains both rare and common types of habitat — everything from southwest desert to arctic tundra. For 40 million visitors each year, refuges provide a welcome retreat to natural surroundings. That’s why we are pleased to conduct this exciting national wildlife refuge digital photo contest.

You can submit your National Wildlife Refuge System images on this site beginning May 1, 2009. There is a $10 entry fee per entrant.

Images can be of birds, mammals, insects, fish, other animals, plants, people, or refuge scenery, in short, almost any sight at a national wildlife refuge can be submitted for this contest.

Entries for the 2009 Contest must be submitted by July 15, 2009. Results will be announced in October 2009 in connection with Refuge Week.

Results of the contest will be prominently featured on our website. Selected photos will be added to NWRA’s digital Refuge Image Library, an online searchable gallery of images taken at national wildlife refuges. Click here to see a collection of all the winning images from the 2008 Contest.

Prizes will include the great products shown on the right. In addition, all photographers submitting an entry to the General Category will receive a complimentary one year membership in the National Wildlife Refuge Association (NWRA), the only organization working exclusively to protect, enhance and expand the National Wildlife Refuge System. WHAT PHOTOS TO ENTER: We are looking for striking images of nature — on land, in the air and beneath the water’s surface—from anywhere in the world. These images may show animal behavior, portraits of wildlife in natural habitat, plant life, natural landscapes, or people interacting with nature. Do not include photographs of pets or domestic animals. Images of captive animals photographed in game farms or roadside zoos will be disqualified. Captive animals photographed in major zoos, wildlife research facilities or rehabilitation centers are acceptable. Clearly label animals as wild or captive in the caption information. Previously published photos may be entered; however, please include information on when and where the photos appeared. Winning photos from other competitions may also be entered, but include the name of the contests and the years they won.

Entrants must not infringe on the rights of any other photographer or person or submit images that involve the willful harassment of wildlife or damage to the environment by the photographer.

If you wish to donate any of your images to the National Wildlife Federation for its continuing educational and conservation efforts, please click the appropriate button during uploading. Donors retain ownership of their photos and grant NWF only permission to use the images for its educational and conservation work. NWF greatly appreciates all image donations.

Digital Alterations: All photographs should accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared. Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization will be disqualified. Acceptable are adjustments to color, contrast, brightness and sharpness; removal of dust and scratches; cropping; black and white conversions; and use of HDMI (high dynamic range imaging), where multiple exposures of the same scene are combined for a greater tonal range. Not acceptable are photo composites (combination of two or more photos, not of the same scene); the addition, duplication, deletion or moving of objects in the photos; or the use of artistic digital filters and effects. Examples of artistic filters and effects are watercolor, neon glow, posterizing, stained glass, and others which do not show the scene in its natural way.

DEADLINE: The final date for submitting photos is at July 20, 2009, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. To avoid uploading delays, please do not wait until the final days of the contest to enter. In past years, the large number of entrants trying to upload their photos just prior to deadline caused technical problems which left them unable to enter. NWF anticipates notifying winners in early October 2009.

JUDGING: Photographs will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit. All decisions by the judges will be final and binding.

LEGAL CONDITIONS: By entering this competition, you agree to these entry rules and the following legal conditions:

By entering, participants warrant that his or her entry materials are original, do not infringe on any third party’s rights, and that participant has obtained any necessary permissions from any third party if a third party or third party’s property appears in the photograph. NWF reserves the right to disqualify any entry if it finds in its sole discretion that any of the foregoing warranties are not true. Decisions of NWF shall be final and binding.

By entering, participants release and hold harmless NWF, its affiliated organizations, and each of their directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Companies”) from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, claim, action, demand or damage of any kind arising from or related to the NWPC, any prize won, any use of the entry materials by NWF, the warranties participants make, any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded, participation in any NWPC-related activity, or participation in the NWPC.

The contest is governed by the laws of the United States and is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved with the Companies, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the NWPC, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, before a court of competent jurisdiction located in Fairfax County, Virginia, which court shall apply the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without regard for rules of conflicts of law. Winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form. Return of any prize and/or prize notification as undeliverable or failure of any entrant to comply with any Official Rules may result in disqualification.

If, for any reason, the NWPC is not capable of completion as planned, including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Companies that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the NWPC, the Companies reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the NWPC.

HOW TO ENTER: All entrants first create their contest account, providing contact information and a password for their personal entry page. Entrants are then taken to a payment page where they must designate whether they are a professional, amateur or youth to be entered in the appropriate division, and select a name for their entry. A fee of $15 is charged to each entrant. This fee is used to provide the cash prizes; no NWF funds are used for these prizes. Payment is made on a secure web page using a major credit card. No photos can be uploaded until payment is accepted. With payment of the entry fee, non-members will receive a year’s subscription to National Wildlife.

With a password and an entry name, entrants can upload up to 20 photos at any time during the contest. If you wish to enter additional photos, create a second entry name and pay an additional fee. You do not need to create another account. You do not need to upload all photos at once; you may return to your upload page at any time using your password and entry name. You may delete photos or add new ones at any time up to the deadline.

All photos must have complete information attached, including their subjects, locations, stories, digital adjustments and camera equipment. The judges use this information to help them select the winners. Not providing this information may hurt your chances of winning.

All images must be digitally uploaded. We are no longer accepting mailed or shipped entries. Entrants encountering technical problems while uploading may request permission to submit their photos on a non-returnable disk or as non-returnable prints via mail or courier; please request such permission by July 19, 2009, at info@nwf.org. NWF will not accept any such requests made on the day of the deadline (July 20) or afterwards. Disks or prints thus submitted by mail or courier must be postmarked or dated by July 23, 2009.

Photographers may enter all images in a single category or select different categories as long as the total submission does not exceed 20 photographs. Photos may be color or black and white.

Prepare Your Photos: Camera-made digital images or scans of slides or prints must be uploaded as jpg, gif or png files. Photos should be no smaller than 5 x 7 inches at 72 pixels/inch. File size cannot be more than 2 mb. Original files of camera-made digital photos must be 3 megapixels or larger. Original slides or negatives for scanned photographs must be available on request, but do not send them unless requested by NWF. If you do not have digital scans of your slides or negatives, or the capability to make them, inquire at your local camera store or photo lab. It is quite easy and inexpensive to make digital files of your photos. For further information on editing and resizing your photos, see our page on Preparing Your Photos.

En Foco, Inc and Canson Infinity invite fine art and documentary photographers of any nationality or ethnicity to submit work to People/Places/Things, an international competition celebrating En Foco’s 35th Anniversary.

Entries are now open for Snowden’s 2009 photo competition. This year, we have included a new category to the competition; Black and White category! We hope this will encourage the already creative aspect of the competition and add a new dimension to the already eagerly anticipated Photo exhibition.

Please ensure your photograph is relevant to the theme of the competition which is “Celebrating the Mining Industry”. Your entry will not be considered if it does not comply with this rule.

The photo competition is open only to amateur photographers, 18 years or older and entry is free. It is a condition of entry that you agree to the rules before entering so please review them carefully.

Photos can be submitted online using the website entry form or by post. All entries must be submitted with an entry form, an artist release form and also a model release and property release form if the photo includes any people.

The entries of all winners and finalists will be published on the Snowden website and will also be exhibited at a range of conferences and exhibitions around the world.

The Grand Prize winner’s photograph will also be published in the December 2009 issue of National Geographic magazine.

First Place Prize

Six (6) category winners will be chosen from the Energizer Ultimate Photo Contest, and they all will receive all of the Finalist prize items listed as well as the following:

A framed, signed 16 x 20 print of their choice from Jim Richardson’s photography gallery Web site.

All digital files must be 5 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG or .jpg format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image);

Each entrant may submit entries in any Theme category he/she wishes and may submit entries at different times during the entry period, but no entrant may submit more than one (1) entry per Theme (6 total submissions allowed per entrant). A single email address may be used by only one entrant; entries by additional entrants using the same email address will be disqualified. If an entrant exceeds any of these limits, all of that entrant’s entries will be disqualified.

The exhibition is open to photographers world wide, both amateur and professional. The Center for Fine Art Photography invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in its exhibitions. Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome.

Juror:
Jim Casper, Editor and Publisher of Lens Culture, Paris, France. Lens Culture is a popular
online magazine featuring international contemporary photography, attracting more than two
million unique visitors per year from more than 100 countries worldwide. Since early 2004,
Jim Casper has edited and published Lens Culture; including writing articles, essays and criticism
about photography; conducting, recording and publishing audio interviews with important
photographers; and participating in portfolio reviews, conferences and photography festivals
worldwide. Casper also serves on the board of directors of San Francisco’s PhotoAlliance,
a non-profit educational organization.

Several photographers whose work has first appeared in Lens Culture have since gained worldwide recognition, including new gallery representation, participation in solo and group exhibitions, promotion
and profiles in high quality regional and international magazines and newspapers, commissions for
new work, and sales of their artwork.

About SlowExposures

Since its beginning in 2003, SlowExposures volunteers have created an annual celebration of photography to remind visitors to “slow down” by letting the images surprise, educate, reacquaint and challenge their perceptions of the rural south. Most of the events during the two week show are held in National Historic Registered buildings—it’s a way to provide authentic historical context for the photographs and to assist in the structures’ preservation and reuse.

Located one hour south of Atlanta’s metropolitan airport, SlowExposures attracts over 1,000 visitors to see exceptional work at the main and satellite exhibits, attend workshops and salons, and to take part in the black-tie SlowExposures Ball on Saturday night of opening weekend.

This year, the traditional home of SlowExposures is undergoing a much-anticipated renovation—the show will be moved to the Historic Candler Field Museum in Williamson, Georgia. The Airfield is both a working airfield that specializes in antique aircraft and the beginnings of an ambitious recreation of Atlanta’s Hartsfield Airport as it existed in the 1920’s. SlowExposures 2009 promises to be a fascinating and unique collaboration of technology, history and fine art, set in the rural ambiance of Pike County.

SlowExposures is the annual fundraiser of Pike Historic Preservation and is dedicated to supporting the history and cultural heritage of the rural south through contemporary photography. All proceeds from SlowExposures go to the preservation of historic buildings and landscapes. The Whiskey Bonding Barn in Molena is this year’s beneficiary.

The Art of Photography Today: An Open Competition

Eligibility: The exhibition is open to all domestic and international, professional and amateur photographers at least 18 years of age, working with digital or traditional photography or combinations of both. The Camera Obscura Gallery invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in its exhibitions. Traditional, contemporary, and experimental photograph-based mixed techniques are welcome.

The jurors will select approximately 50-75 photographs to be shown in a six-week exhibition at the prestigious Camera Obscura Gallery, one of the world’s oldest photography galleries. Exhibition dates are from September 18, 2009 – October 24, 2009. Accepted works must remain in The Camera Obscura Gallery until the close of exhibition.

A fotópályázat témája a hulladékmegelőzés.

A képek bármely fotóműfajban, bármilyen fotótechnikával és -technológiával készülhetnek. Fotómontázsok, portrék, tájképek, csendéletek, szociofotók, fotografikák stb. egyaránt szerepelhetnek a pályázati kollekcióban.

Az elbírálásnál előnyt jelent, ha a pályázó a fotóval nem egyszerűen dokumentál, hanem kreatív, ötletes, egyedi, megközelítést használ, amelyben megtalálhatók humoros, kritikus, értékelő elemek.

Technikai követelmények:
A képek felbontása 300 dpi legyen, a file mérete 1-2MB között legyen.
A díjazott szerzők munkáit a kiírók utólag bekérik e-mailen, nagy felbontásban.
Formátum: JPEG.

Beküldés módja: elektronikusan a foto@humusz.hu címre várjuk a digitális képeket. A kép nevét az alábbiak szerint képezzék: PONTSORSZAMA_VEZETEKNEV_KERESZTNEV.jpg (pl. 2_Kiss_Gabor.jpg). A levélhez kötelezően mellékelni kell a kitöltött nevezési lapot is, amely innen tölthető le.
Nevezési díj nincs.

Értékelés: A beérkezett pályaműveket szakmai zsűri bírálja. Az eredményekről 2009. július 31-ig, e-mail-en keresztül értesítjük a pályázókat.

Felhasználás:
A fotók nyilvánosságra hozhatók.
A HuMuSz a beérkezett képeket felhasználhatja saját hulladékmegelőzési kiadványaiban, illetve a témához kapcsolódóan a sajtóban is megjelenteti azokat úgy, hogy a kép mellett feltünteti a szerző nevét. A képekből kiállítást rendez, amelynek részleteiről előzetesen értesíti a szerzőket.
A szerzők a kép beadásával tudomásul veszik a pályázati feltételeket.

A pályaművek témái:

Az éghajlatváltozást már közvetlenül érzékeljük: olvadnak a sarki jégsapkák, emelkedik a tengerek vízszintje, forróbbak a nyarak és gyakoribbá váltak a szélsőséges viharok, pusztító árvizek. A klímaváltozás egyre súlyosabb károkat okoz, hatása zavarja természetes környezetünk működését, egyre több növény- és állatfajt fenyeget a kihalás veszélye.

Az éghajlatváltozás mindenki problémája, és mindenki részese a megoldásnak. Az éghajlatváltozás elleni harc megnyeréséhez a társadalom egészének és minden egyes tagjának hozzá kell járulnia. A mindennapi életünkben tett apró változások is segítik az üvegházhatást okozó gázok kibocsátásának csökkentését anélkül, hogy az befolyásolná az életminőségünket. Otthonaink fűtése és energiafelhasználása, közlekedési eszközeink megválasztása, vásárlási és táplálkozási szokásaink a változtatás fő területei, ahol pozitív lépéseket tehetünk.

Te hogyan látod ezt?

A pályaművek elkészítése:

A rajzpályázatra A/3 vagy A/4 méretű, fekvő vagy álló rajzlapokon, vagy egyéb, nem törékeny anyagon megvalósított művek nevezhetők. Az elkészítés technikája szabadon választott (pl.: vízfesték, tempera, olajfesték, filctoll, tollrajz, zsírkréta, pasztell, montázs, batikolás, kollázs, vegyes technika stb.). A rajzpályázatra egy alkotó kizárólag egyetlen alkotással pályázhat. A beküldött anyagot nem szükséges képkerettel ellátni.

A fotópályázatra maximum 3 darab papíralapú, pályázati anyagot várunk. A pályaműveket minimum 13×18 cm-es méretben kell elkészíteni. Fekete-fehér és színes papírképek egyaránt beküldhetők. Hagyományos, ezüstalapú fényképek és digitális fotók, nyomatok egyaránt szerepelhetnek a pályaművek között. A fotókat semmilyen hordozó anyagra nem szükséges felragasztani.

Pályaműként csak olyan alkotás küldhető be, amely más pályázaton még nem vett részt. Kérjük, hogy a rajzok és fényképek hátulján jól olvashatóan tüntessék fel az alkotás címét, a pályázó nevét, pontos postai címét, telefonszámát (illetve a szülő, gondviselő, vagy felkészítő pedagógus telefonszámát), osztályát, születési adatait (év, hónap, nap), az iskola/óvoda nevét és címét, valamint a felkészítő pedagógus nevét, e-mail címét.

A nyerteseket telefonon és e-mailben értesítjük.

A határidő lejárta után elküldött pályázatokat a zsűri nem veszi figyelembe.

Az alkotásokat korosztályonként értékeljük és jutalmazunk. A fődíjakon túl, a Bíráló Bizottság döntése alapján értékes különdíjak is gazdára találnak. A Bíráló Bizottság fenntartja magának a jogot, hogy a pályaművek értékelésekor egyes korosztályokat és kategóriákat összevonhat, illetve más díjazási módokat állapíthat meg. A legügyesebb diákokat a pályázatot kiíró minisztériumok 2010. nyarán környezetvédelmi alkotó-táborba hívják meg.

A legjobb alkotásokból a pályázat kiírói kiállítást rendeznek. A pályázat postázásával a pályázó törvényes képviselője hozzájárul ahhoz, hogy a pályamű kiállításra kerüljön, illetve a Közlekedési, Hírközlési és Energiaügyi Minisztérium non-profit kiadványában megjelenjen az alkotó nevének és életkorának feltüntetésével.

A díjátadó ünnepségre az Európai Mobilitási Hét ideje alatt (2009. szeptember 16-22.) kerül sor. A rendezvény pontos időpontjáról és helyszínéről a díjazott alkotókat, illetve oktatási intézményüket tájékoztatjuk. Az ünnepségre vidékről meghívott gyerekek és egy felnőtt kísérőjük útiköltségét (vonat- illetve autóbuszjegyét) a Közlekedési, Hírközlési és Energiaügyi Minisztérium megtéríti.

A beküldött műveket nem küldjük vissza. A pályaművek 2009. október 30-ig átvehetők a Közlekedési, Hírközlési és Energiaügyi Minisztériumban (Budapest V. kerület, Akadémia u. 3.)

A Henkel Art.Award pályázatot a Henkel CEE eddig évente változó kategóriákban (grafika, fotó, formatervezés) hirdette meg. Idén, a kortárs képzőművészet területéről festészet, grafika, fotó, videó és installáció kategóriákban készült alkotásokkal pályázhatnak a művészek. Az anyagok beadási határideje 2009. június 8.

A több fordulóból álló elbírálás során először Wrobel Péter, Barcsay-díjas képzőművész elnökletével, a hazai zsűri választja ki azokat a pályaműveket, amelyek a nemzetközi mezőnybe jutnak. Ezt követően 2009 szeptemberében, neves szakemberekből álló nemzetközi zsűri kiválaszt öt művészt, akiket a Henkel Art.Award 2009 díjra jelölnek.. A pályázat eredményét díjátadó gála keretében november 25-én hirdetik ki Bécsben. Az eseményt követően a nagyközönség az osztrák fővárosban megrendezendő kiállításon tekintheti meg a díj nyertesének és a jelölteknek a pályaműveit.

A Henkel Art.Award díjazottja 7 000 euró pénzjutalmat kap, és lehetőséget arra, hogy hazájában saját kiállítást szervezzen a Henkel támogatásával. A Henkel CEE szakmai együttműködő partnere a KulturKontakt Austria és a MUMOK (Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig). Most először, a győztesnek arra is lehetősége nyílik, hogy műveiből nemcsak hazájában, hanem 2010-ben a MUMOK-ban is önálló kiállítást rendezzen.

A díj egyben nagyszerű lehetőség a bemutatkozásra a művészeti világban, amit mi sem bizonyít jobban, mint hogy a korábbi nyertesek rangos nemzetközi kiállításon szerepeltek. 2007-ben a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem Formatervező Tanszékének hallgatója, Domán Rajmund kotyoGo fantázianevű hordozható kávéfőzőjével nyerte el a díjat. Őt a bécsi döntőbe továbbjutott 140 pályázó közül választotta ki a nemzetközi zsűri.

A Henkel CEE 32 országban koordinálja az üzleti folyamatokat: Albánia, Ausztria, Azerbajdzsán, Bosznia-Hercegovina, Bulgária, Cseh Köztársaság, Észtország, Fehéroroszország, Grúzia, Horvátország, Kazahsztán, Kirgizisztán, Koszovó, Lengyelország, Lettország, Litvánia, Macedónia, Magyarország, Moldova, Mongólia, Montenegró, Oroszország, Örményország, Románia, Szerbia, Szlovákia, Szlovénia, Tádzsikisztán, Törökország, Türkmenisztán, Ukrajna és Üzbegisztán területén. A Henkel CEE erős második helyen áll Közép- és Kelet-Európában a tisztítószerek piacán, és piacvezető a hajápolási termékek és ragasztók piacán. A régió legismertebb Henkel-márkanevei a Ceresit, a Fa, a Loctite, a Pattex, a Persil és a Schwarzkopf.

A pályázat témája

Alkotások a kortárs képzőművészet (festészet, grafika, fotó, videó és installáció) területéről. Az idei kiírásra a Henkel olyan pályaműveket vár a jelentkezőktől, amelyek a kortárs képzőművészet fent felsorolt, valamely területről érkeztek.

Díjak

A zsűri a verseny döntőjén egy győztest hirdet, aki az alábbi díjakban részesül:

a Henkel Art.Award. 2009 nyertesnek lehetősége nyílik arra, hogy műveiből 2010-ben egy saját kiállítást rendezzen a bécsi Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig-ban. Alkotásai a kiállítási katalógusban is megjelennek
a Henkel támogatja egy önálló kiállítás megrendezésében, hazájában is.

A döntőbe öt versenyző kerül. Ők meghívást kapnak Bécsbe, hogy a tervek szerint 2009. november 25-én részt vegyenek a Henkel Art. Award. díjátadó gáláján.

A nevezés személyi feltételei

A Henkel Art.Award. pályázatra való jelentkezési korhatár: 40 év
A pályázatra csak a következő országokban élő művészek jelentkezhetnek: Albánia, Azerbajdzsán, Bosznia-Hercegovina, Bulgária, Cseh Köztársaság, Észtország, Fehéroroszország, Grúzia, Horvátország, Kazahsztán, Kirgizisztán, Koszovó, Lengyelország, Lettország, Litvánia, Macedónia, Magyarország, Moldova, Mongólia, Montenegró, Oroszország, Örményország, Románia, Szerbia, Szlovákia, Szlovénia, Tádzsikisztán, Törökország, Türkmenisztán, Ukrajna és Üzbegisztán.

A fenti országok magyar és nem magyar állampolgárai egyaránt pályázhatnak Magyarországon. Külföldi állampolgárság esetén a pályázó elfogadja a magyar zsűri értékelését.
Nevezési díj nincs.

A jelentkezés tartalmi és formai követelményei

A verseny első fordulójához a pályaművek dokumentációját kell beküldeni, nem az eredeti alkotásokat!
Csak 2006. után készült művek dokumentációját fogadja el a zsűri.

A verseny első fordulójához az alábbi dokumentumokat kérjük beküldeni egy maximum A/3 méretű borítékban az alábbi címre:

Önéletrajz és művészeti pályafutás ismertetése magyar és/vagy angol nyelven
5-10 művészeti alkotás bemutatása a következő formátumokban:
Fotó, grafika vagy festmény dokumentációja esetén: a képek CD-re vagy DVD-re írva.
A pályaművek dokumentációjának formai követelménye: nagy felbontású (300dpi) jpeg,
vagy tif formátumú, sajtómegjelenésre alkalmas fotók.
Installáció dokumentációja: albumba rendezve.
Installáció esetén kérjük mellékelni az installáció alaprajzát, valamint az installációról több
nézetből készített fotókat.
Videó esetén: maximum 30 perc hosszúságú videó DVD-re írva.
A benyújtott pályaművek rövid szöveges (4-5 mondatban) ismertetése, melyben a pályázó feltünteti a pályaművek eredeti méretét (fotó, grafika, festmény, illetve installáció esetén), vagy időtartamát (videó esetén).
A második fordulóba jutott pályázóknak az eredeti alkotásokat kell benyújtaniuk.

A nevezés folyamata, zsűrizés
A verseny kétlépcsős kiválasztási folyamatban zajlik. A magyar zsűri kiválaszt három művészt, akiknek pályamunkái és jelentkezési dokumentumai továbbjutnak Bécsbe a nemzetközi zsűrihez.
A pályázat benyújtásával a pályázó vállalja, hogy

* a legjobb háromba való bekerülés esetén a pályázathoz tartozó dokumentumokat (önéletrajz, művészeti pályafutás ismertetése, a pályamű bemutatása, videó esetében az értelmezéshez szükséges felirat biztosítása) az értesítést követő 7 napon belül megküldi a Morpho Communications részére angol nyelven.

* a kiválasztott pályaműről nagy felbontású (300dpi) jpeg vagy tiff formátumú, sajtómegjelenésre alkalmas fényképet küld az értesítést követő 24 órán belül.

Azok a pályázók, akiknek munkáját a helyi zsűri nem választotta be a három továbbjutó közé, a benyújtott pályázati anyagot az alábbi címen és időpontban vehetik át személyesen:

Azoknak a pályázóknak, akik a feltüntetett időpontban nem veszik át jelentkezési anyagukat, postán küldjük vissza a beküldött pályamunkáit 2009. augusztus 1-ig.

A magyar zsűri által továbbjuttatandó 3 pályázó munkáinak eredetijét a pályázóknak egy előre egyeztetett időpontban el kell juttatnia a Morpho Communications címére, ahonnan az alkotások Bécsbe kerülnek, és a szeptember elején összeülő nemzetközi zsűri értékeli azokat. A nemzetközi zsűri az összes résztvevő országból érkezett pályázó közül kiválasztja azt az 5 jelöltet, akik esélyesek a Henkel Art.Award. díjra. A pályázat eredményét ünnepélyes díjátadó gála keretében november 25-én hirdetik ki Bécsben. A gálán kiállítják az öt jelölt, köztük a nyertes alkotásait.

A pályázók nem részesülnek anyagi juttatásban a bécsi (vagy a saját hazájukban szervezett) kiállításon való részvételért. A vállalat a benyújtott műalkotásokat visszajuttatja az alkotóknak, miután a hazai zsűrizés, illetve az öt döntős kiválasztása megtörtént. A pályaművek elvesztéséért vagy megsérüléséért a Henkel és a Morpho Communications nem vállal felelősséget.
A beküldött anyagokhoz kapcsolódó szellemi tulajdonjogok

A pályázó tanúsítja, hogy a beküldött munkákat ő maga hozta létre, és ezek nem tartalmazzák, vagy sértik harmadik fél szellemi tulajdonjogait.

A pályázó hozzájárul ahhoz, hogy alkotásairól, művészi tevékenységéről a Henkel sajtóanyagaiban, honlapjain tetszőleges terjedelemben, képekkel, portréfotóval beszámoljon.

A pályázó adatainak felhasználása
A Henkel minden, a versennyel kapcsolatban beküldött adatot felhasznál a pályázattal kapcsolatos ügyintézéséhez és az értékeléséhez. Amennyiben bármilyen kérdése van az adatai felhasználásával kapcsolatban, vagy a megadott adatok pontosítását kéri, lépjen kapcsolatba a szervezőkkel az artaward@morpho.hu email címen.

Kommunikációs célú felhasználás
A döntőbe jutott pályázó a versenyben való részvételével felhatalmazza a Henkelt, hogy vezetéknevét, keresztnevét, amennyiben még hallgatói jogviszonyban van, felsőoktatási intézményének nevét, fényképét és ötletét felhasználhassa kommunikációs célokra.

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries is joining with other governmental departments to host “Beijing in the Eyes of Foreigners,” a photo contest featuring work from foreign photographers working in China or other parts of the world, from March to July 2009.

This event is organized by the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Foreign Affairs Office of Beijing Municipal People’s Government, Information Office of Beijing Municipal People’s Government, Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and Beijing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment.

The theme of the contest is “The New Face of Beijing.” It aims to give people from outside China an opportunity to better understand Beijing, its charms and, in particular, its changes. The Organizing Committee will accept submissions of photographic work exploring the “new” aspects of Beijing in everything from travel and recreation, to life and work in Beijing. All foreigners who have lived or travelled in Beijing are welcome to enter the contest.

Photos will be judged by a select experts’ committee, with the best photos receiving awards as follows: 15,000 yuan each for two Grand Prize winners; 5,000 yuan each for five Runners-Up winners; 3,000 yuan each for 10 Third Place winners; and 500 yuan each for 33 winners of an honourable mention. Prize winners will be invited to take part in a press event for the contest in Beijing, and will be presented with a special collection of the prize-winning photos.

Submission of images to the contest will be taken as a tacit approval for the publication and display of the images received. Information and promotional materials for the contest will be released through print media. At the conclusion of the contest, the Organizing Committee will hold an exhibition of top photos in Beijing, in addition to publishing them in a book.

The deadline for submissions to the Beijing in the Eyes of Foreigners photo contest is July 10，2009. Participants should note the following:

1. Entries can be black and white or colour images, and may be submitted either electronically or as prints. Group entries are limited to four (4) photos. Digital photos in the JPG (Jpeg) format should be no smaller than 500 kb (kilobytes) in size.

2. Submitted print images should be 10 inches along their longest edge and un-mounted.

3. Digital photos should be delivered as high-resolution files (no less than 18 MB (megabytes) each), burned on a CD or DVD. The entries can be submitted by e-mail, mail or may be dropped off at the registration office of the Organizing Committee. Please write “Photo Contest: Beijing in the Eyes of Foreigners” on the front of the envelope. While the Organizing Committee will do its utmost to care for images submitted to them, it is not responsible for damages or loss incurred during the mailing or handling process. The entries will not be returned to the participants after the event. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make final decisions about any aspect of the photo contest or its rules.

4. Entries should be accompanied by the registration form provided and should be sent to the address of the Organizing Committee listed on the registration form.

PÁLYÁZATI FELHÍVÁS

A Bevándorlási és Állampolgársági Hivatal az Európai Integrációs Alap támogatásával
fotópályázatot hirdet
a Magyarországon élő bevándorlók társadalmi beilleszkedéséről az alábbi
témakörökben:

1. kategória: Ismeretlen kultúrák Magyarországon
Hogyan jelennek meg a 3. országbeli külföldiek a magyar társadalomban. Az e kategóriában készítendő fotóktól azt várjuk, hogy engedjenek bepillantást a távoli országokból érkezett, más kulturális és vallási háttérrel rendelkező, magyarul nem, vagy alig beszélő külföldiek magyar hétköznapokba való beilleszkedésébe, megtartva saját identitásukat és kulturális gyökereiket.

2. kategória: Ázsia arcai
A hazánkban nagyobb számban élő ázsiai országokból érkezett közösség tagjait illetve ezen személyek magyarországi életvitelét bemutató fotókat várunk.

3. kategória: (Elő)ítéletek nélkül
Az itt beérkező fotóknak a fogadó (magyar) társadalom és a külföldi által képviselt másság/különbözőség viszonyát, ennek pozitív megnyilvánulásait kell szemléltetniük.

Minden pályázó kategóriánként 6 db képet adhat be. Egyazon fotográfia nem szerepelhet több kategóriában! A díjazott valamint a legjobban sikerült képekből 2009. szeptember-októberében a Millenáris parkban kiállítást rendezünk.

Minden kategóriában 3 díj kerül kiosztásra 400.000 Ft/kategória értékben. Valamennyi kategóriában induló pályamunka közül a Hivatal munkatársai által legjobbnak ítélt fotó készítője az Európai Integrációs Alap különdíjában részesítünk. A különdíj értéke 150.000 Ft. A díjak átadására a fotókiállítás ünnepélyes megnyitóján kerül sor.

FOTÓPÁLYÁZAT SZAKMAI LEÍRÁS

A Bevándorlási és Állampolgársági Hivatal az Európai Integrációs Alap keretében valósítja meg a SZÍVAKU c. projektjét. E projekt keretében országos pályázatot hirdetünk digitális fotók beküldésére az alábbi témakörben és feltételekkel.

A pályázat célja, hogy amatőr és profi fotósok olyan fényképeket készítsenek, melyek bemutatják a hazánkban élő legális migránsok (köznyelvben: bevándorlók) mindennapjait, magyar kultúrába történő beilleszkedésüket. A fényképekkel ábrázolandó portrékkal/ élethelyzetekkel/ életképekkel az a célunk, hogy közelebb hozzuk egymáshoz a fogadó társadalmat (magyar emberek) és a közöttünk huzamosabban élő külföldi (3. országbeli, azaz nem Európai Unióból származó) polgárokat. Célunk, hogy fotografikus ábrázolás eszközeivel megmutassuk, hogy Magyarországon is egyre erőteljesebben van jelen a multikulturalizmus, s ennek milyen pozitív megnyilvánulási formái érhetők tetten hétköznapjainkban.

1) Témakörök:

1. kategória: Ismeretlen kultúrák Magyarországon
A fővárosban és vidéki nagy és kisvárosainkban, nagyobb településeken egyre gyakrabban találkozhatunk bevándorlókkal. 2008. december 31-én közel 106.000 nem EU állampolgár tartózkodott huzamosan Magyarországon. Ezeknek az embereknek az „idegen” volta sokszor elsőre is szembeötlő, ami részben eltérő bőrszínüknek, az általuk beszélt idegen nyelvnek tudható be, vagy különböző öltözködési és társaságbeli viselkedési formáikban ölt testet. Az e kategóriában készítendő fotóktól azt várjuk, hogy bepillantást engednek abba, hogy a nem az Európai Unióból (ide sorolva még: Svájc, Norvégia) érkezett, más kulturális és vallási háttérrel rendelkező, magyarul nem, vagy alig beszélő külföldiek hogyan tudnak beilleszkedni a magyar hétköznapokba, megtartva saját identitásukat és kulturális gyökereiket.
A pályaművek műfaja: életkép vagy riport lehet.

2. kategória: Ázsia arcai
A hazánkban nagyobb számban élő ázsiai országokból érkezett közösség tagjait mindenki hamarabb észreveszi. Az ország teljes területén találkozhatunk velük. A közösség tagjai elsősorban kiskereskedelmi tevékenységet folytatnak, gyermekeik magyar iskolákba járnak és igen hamar elsajátítják a magyar nyelvet, könnyen beilleszkednek a magyar iskolai közösségbe, szorgalmasan tanulnak. Ugyanakkor e közösségekre jellemző egyfajta zártság, ami csak felületes betekintést enged a magyar emberek számára. E kategóriában induló fényképekkel e kívülről homogénnek tűnő, ugyanakkor nagyon vegyes közösség hétköznapjait, magyar emberekhez való viszonyát kívánjuk közelebbről bemutatni.
A pályaművek műfaja: portré, életkép vagy riport lehet.

3. kategória: (Elő)ítéletek nélkül
Az itt beérkező fotóknak a fogadó (magyar) társadalom és a külföldi által képviselt másság/különbözőség viszonyát, ennek pozitív megnyilvánulásait kell szemléltetniük. Célunk annak bemutatása, hogy a magyar társadalom képes nyitottan elfogadni a magyartól eltérő hagyományok és kulturális értékrend hordozóit és a befogadás képes gazdagabbá tenni a magyar mindennapokat. Az ebben a kategóriában benyújtandó fényképek egyúttal ábrázolhatnak olyan élethelyzeteket is, amelyek megtörténtek és amelyek célja az, hogy felhívja a figyelmet az együttélést aláásó kirekesztő magatartásokra és az ebből eredő kilátástalan élethelyzetekre. A pályaművek műfaja: életkép vagy riport lehet.

2) Pályázati feltételek

2.1) Személyi kritériumok
Ki nyújthat be pályázatot:
- magyar és EGT állampolgár;
- Magyarországon élő, tartózkodási-, letelepedési- vagy bevándorlási engedéllyel rendelkező külföldi állampolgár, és
- a magyar hatóságok által elismert menekült, vagy oltalmazott jogállású személy, aki betöltötte a 14. életévét.

2.2) Formai kritériumok
A pályázati felhívásra 2009. január 01. után készült képek küldhetők be.
Pályázni az interneten (www.bevandorlas.hu honlapon) elhelyezett regisztrációs űrlap kitöltésével lehet. A kitöltött űrlapot a megadott internetes oldalon el kell menteni.

A beadás formai kellékei:
A regisztrációt követően a pályaműveket CD-n vagy DVD-n kell beküldeni. A digitális adathordozóra mentett pályaművek címét fel kell tüntetni a DVD-n. Az egyes kategóriákban induló fotókat külön mappába kell elmenteni az adathordozón. Az adathordozóra mentett fotókról egyértelműen ki kell derülnie, hogy melyik kategóriára nyújtotta be a pályázó. Minden fotónak rövid, legfeljebb 4 szavas címet kell adni, amelynek rövidítése szerepeljen a CD/DVD-re rögzített fájl neveként. Ennek hiányában a pályamű nem vesz részt a zsűri értékelésében.

A pályamunkák mellett, a digitális adathordozóra mentve, vagy az adathordozó mellé rövid leírást kell mellékelni arról, hogy a beadott versenyfotó kit/kiket ábrázol (népcsoport), hol készült (település földrajzi megnevezése) és mikor (év, hónap).
A digitális adathordozó mellett papírkép is benyújtható. A papír fényképek benyújtása nem kötelező.

Egy fénykép, csak egy kategóriában indítható! A címmel ellátott, kategóriánként csoportosított fényképeket zárt borítékban kell eljuttatni a megadott címre.

2.3) Technikai kritériumok
Filetípus: JPEG, TIF
Felvétel: digitális
Szín: fekete-fehér és színes
Minimális méret: 6 Megapixel

Felhívjuk a jelentkezők figyelmét, hogy manipulált fotó nem küldhető be!
Mi számít, és mi nem számít a fotó manipulálásának?

Nem számít a fotó manipulálásának:
• A kép megvágása, a zavaró elemek levágása, a kép orientációjának megváltoztatása.
• A teljes képet érintő színkorrekció. A kép fényességének, kontrasztjának, élességének állítása.
• A színes felvételek fekete-fehérré alakítása.

A fotók manipulálásának számít:
• Képelemek kiretusálása/hozzáadása.
• A kép egyes részleteinek különálló, markáns színkorrekciója.
• Digitális effektek vagy szűrők alkalmazása az utómunka során.

2.4) Pályaművek beadása
A beadott pályázatnak tartalmaznia kell a www.bevandorlas.hu-ról kinyomtatott, kitöltött és aláírt regisztrációs lapot, valamint a CD-re, vagy DVD-re elmentett, címekkel ellátott versenyben indítandó fotókat. Papírképek mellékelése opcionális.

A zárt borítékon fel kell tűntetni: SZÍVAKU fotópályázat 2009.
2009. július 17-e előtt nem bontható fel.

A kiírásra pályázatok csak postai úton nyújthatók be.

3) A fotók értékelése és felhasználása
A 2009. július 15-ig postára adott pályázatokat 3 tagú zsűri értékeli. A beérkező pályamunkák számától függően egy vagy kétfordulós eljárásban. A zsűri 2009. augusztus 30-ig hozza meg végső döntését.

Az értékelésből való teljes körű automatikus kizárás esetei:
- ha a beküldött pályázat nem tartalmazza a pályázó által aláírt regisztrációs lapot;
- ha a beküldött adathordozó sérült, nem olvasható;
- ha az adathordozón szereplő fényképekről nem állapítható meg, hogy a pályázó mely kategóriában kívánta indítani a fotókat;
- ha a benyújtott fotók nem felelnek meg az ezen útmutatóban felsorolt technikai feltételeknek;
- ha a pályázó 6 db fotónál többet nevez egy kategóriában, ill. az adathordozón egy kategória besorolás alatt 6-nál több fénykép szerepel;

Az értékelésből automatikus kizárásra kerül az a fénykép, amelyet több kategóriára nyújtott be a pályázó.

A képek felhasználására és az esetleges szerzői jogi igényekre vonatkozó vállalás a regisztrációs lapon van feltüntetve. A regisztrációs lapot ki kell nyomtatni és alá kell írni. Az aláírt és kitöltött regisztrációs lapot a fotókkal egy időben kell zárt borítékban beküldeni a fenti címre.

A résztvevő a pályázati anyag elküldésével automatikusan elfogadja a pályázati feltételeket és egyben hozzájárul, hogy a Bevándorlási és Állampolgársági Hivatal a pályázattal kapcsolatos publikációiban (pl.: kiállítási meghívó, kiállítást meghirdető plakát, belső kiadvány, kiállítási hirdetmény, a versenyfotókból készült naptár, poszter stb.) képeit térítésmentesen megjelentesse.

A Hivatal a zsűri által kiválasztott díjazott fényképekből és a további legjobb fotókból 2009. szeptember-október folyamán ingyenesen látogatható kiállítást rendez Budapesten. A kiállítandó képek készítői a kiállítás nyitófogadására meghívást kapnak. A Hivatal a legjobb – nem csak a díjazott – fotókból 2010-es asztali naptárt és falinaptárt készíttet.
